jambo.i have learnt rugby is more than just a game. Having seen Potterhouse michezo runda ,go struggles and come out shining in safaricom sevens U14,teaches me of how young men can become regardless of their background. i am proud of this kids and lets join hands to support them in terms of food, clothes and money.

We need more people like you! Some one who doesn't run to support foreign teams yet we got the most amazing ones at home!
I reckon Kenya Sevens are a force to watch against & at the rate they are moving forward, i can see light at the end of the turnel!
Those guyz make us proud!
I hope the Kenyan Goverment would realise that some day!

It is good to note that Mr Gichuki is still much involved with the game. Knowing that he was a player of the sevens himself. Keep up the good work on that part of the world.

Hi, go! Kenya go! rugby is a way of life and life starts in the womb. We hope children can learn the game at an early age . Kudos to krfu for the mini rugby program. us at Safari Michezo Runda are there to give kids an opportunity to love and play the game. We are coming over to Ngong Road to lift the Bamburi under 14 trophy. Our starting line up has 4 Boranas that means North eastern is not left out.

Good article miss Nekesa. You are truly one of the greatest fans to this beautiful game. We should do all we can to popularize the game, and the intial strides are well underway i.e. the Kenya 7's boys being on the world map. We are known all over the world, now we need to get known locally. And that will mean growing the sport at the grassroot level. Nondies had started a mini-rugby thing that targeted the Kibera slums. Do you know if that is still going on? these boys are just looking for something to get them out of the slums. They have untapped potential.

Such initiatives should be encouraged. It is unlikely we will ever get any recognition from the government in a long while, until or unless we bring home a team medel from the commonwealth games, them we will start being celebrated, and you will be surprised at the exponential growth that we will experience. At the rate Benja and the boys are going, its is just a matter of time before we get there. We will be there, I believe, we will be there!!!

Cheers.
